Mission Statement

NY Tech Valley Chapter of IFMA’s mission is to serve and educate all of its members on the latest trends and skills in Facility Management.

This prestigious networking group is in its early stages, but we are diligently work to get Professional, Associate and Student members from in and around the Capital District to join this chapter and believe that each and every one of you will find this group beneficial.


The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) was established in 1980, and is a non-profit, incorporated association dedicated to serving the facility management profession.

IFMA strives to enhance the recognition and integrity of the profession, while providing facility professionals with the services and information they need to advance their careers.

This International organization provides education, research, publications, events, and alliances with other related associations and organizations.
